In 2018, the en bloc fever spilled over to Holland Road-Farrer Road area when developers’ interest in the Holland Road-Farrer Road neighbourhood was ignited by the URA’s launch of the commercial and residential Government Land Sales (GLS) site on Holland Road in November 2017.
Early in March of 2018, Far East Consortium International snapped up the 48-unit Hollandia on Holland Road for $183.4 million ($1,703 psf ppr).
The 44-unit freehold The Estoril which sat on an 84,600 sq ft freehold site, was launched for sale on Feb 26 2018, with a guide price of $220 million ($1,478 psf ppr). The site could have been redeveloped into a new 166-unit condo. This marked The Estoril’s fourth collective sale attempt. The last attempt was in 2010.
Consequently, the developers have bought up the two iconic condominiums at $223.9 million and $183.4 million respectively, and merged them to develop an exclusive plot of 242,000 square feet of land with 319 residential units to occupy.
Residents will enjoy this exclusively rare and large plot of land along Holland Road. The condo will promise to deliver tranquility and a retreat away from urban living, whilst still remaining in the core central region (CCR) and one of Singapore’s most popular hang-out spots.
The Hyll on Holland launch date was originally dated to be on 25 June 2020, but due to COVID-19 restrictions, is now set for September 18 2020 where the official pricing and unit allocation will be released.
